thinking out loud workshop outline

This workshop will get your pupils up on their feet from start to finish. It uses drama based games to explore many aspects of critical thinking.

‘in groups of …’: a rapid exploration into group dynamics and seeing how working in different size groups is possible

blind trust: using trust games to learn how important it is to be able to trust the people you work with and how trust is a two way thing

whisper instructions: a hilarious look at how listening is active not passive

common ground: a quieter exercise that reaches into the area of compromise to find a common solution that all are happy with

exploring differences: this actively looks at how different people work in different situations

time for a commercial break: this closing activity pulls together all that has been covered so far as the participants work in groups to create and present a 30 second TV style commercial
